The Church of God in St. Robert, Missouri believe's it's mission is to spread the Gospel of Christ, not only here in the United States but as we can financially, in Central & South America as God Blesses this ministry. As we strive to attain that purpose, we have used "Mission Work & Witness Teams" as our primary means to accomplish that mission outside of our community.

    We believe that through this avenue of service, our church is following Christ's Great Commission in Matthew 28: 19-20

             Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, Baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit,and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

    The first missions work team trip was in 1987 to Lima, Peru by Bland & Barbara Smith. God has blessed the church as more and more people have become involved with going on these Work Teams. We send our Volunteer Work & Witness team on one trip a year, usually from 5 to 10 days. We have worked to raise money for the teams travel, and for the needed fund for the projects materials. We alternate destinations between home and abroad each year. We do Building Projects such as Building Schools, Hospitals, Churches, and Houses. We also reach-out through Evangelism, Childrens Vacation Bible School, Visitation to Hospitals & Clinics, and usually take any requested supplies with us, to offset costs of purchase in those countries. We simply want to serve and work in whatever capacity we are needed, and for that we are Blessed.
