Pocket Change for Sole Hope

On Sunday, March 1, the Mission Team will be giving each family a decorated pocket to collect “Pocket Change for Sole Hope” during the entire month.  The pockets will be collected on Sunday April 5.  Sole Hope is a ministry out of Uganda, Africa.  “Thousands of vulnerable people in Uganda suffer from a crippling parasite called jiggers.  Sole Hope aides Ugandan people to become jigger-free through health checks, education, and shoes, restoring health and hope for the future.”  The money collected will help cover shipping costs of the shoes and dresses made during the Sole Hope shoe-cutting party.  Each pair of shoes costs approximate $10 to ship and make.  Every penny counts!  For more information on Sole Hope Uganda, visit their website: www.solehope.org
