The Vision & Mission of Outreach

Our Mission is to use God’s word and put it into action, “Whatever you did for one of the least
of these brothers and sisters of mine, you do for me.” Matthew 25:40 Working outside the
church is what Christ wants for His church. It is our responsibly as an Outreach team to serve
those in need who work and live beyond the physical borders of the church and its grounds.

How to Get Involved

We invite any and all members of Church of God Saint Robert to come and be a part of any
event we host. You can participate by hands-on involvement and/or monetary assistance to
organizations doing God’s work in helping to meet basic human needs.  These ministries are
many and varied. They include gifts of time and service, such as volunteering at local food
pantries or homeless shelters, and special feeding events (Thanksgiving, Christmas) on behalf of the poor and needy.  We seek ways to help direct financial resources of our congregation to minister to the destitute, homeless, and oppressed, in our local area and in world communities beyond the confines of our church.

We do this through the thoughtful allocation of funds designated for Outreach.  We also gratefully acknowledge the many gifts of human and financial resources in support of Outreach from other individuals and ministries within the Church of God Saint Robert family.

The Outreach Ministries Committee is a small group of motivated children of God who want to see His kingdom grow. We hold meetings throughout the year with the purpose of proposing new activities and ideas. Each member cares passionately about the work of their
organizations, as well as their individual calls to service.  We provide moral, financial, and
hands-on support to these Outreach efforts.  We welcome new voices and new concerns;
